Bought this as a guest house for our property and it serves its purpose, but let me be honest about the downsides. The bathroom is genuinely cramped — I’m 5’10 and bumping into things every time I use it. The kitchen has enough counter space for one person but if you’re cooking for multiple guests it gets crowded fast. That said, the bedroom is comfortable and the living room area is nice for lounging. Setup was easy, delivery team was professional, and the build quality seems solid after five months. I think the product is best suited for solo occupants or couples. If you’re trying to squeeze a family of four in here it’s going to feel too tight no matter how they market the square footage. Three stars because it does what it promises but doesn’t quite exceed expectations the way I hoped.

Purchased two of these for our Airbnb portfolio and they’ve been earning consistently since month three. Guests love the novelty factor — people book specifically because it’s a container home. The full kitchen is a huge selling point versus most tiny homes that skimp on cooking space. Dinette seats two comfortably which guests appreciate for morning coffee. My only knock is the living room feels a bit boxed in because of the walls, and the dinette somewhat blocks the flow from kitchen to living area. It’s a minor layout quirk though. Setup was ridiculously fast. Both units were on-site and assembled in under an hour each. We’ve had zero structural complaints in eight months. If you’re doing short-term rentals this is a solid investment. Bulk discount helped push us over the edge on the second unit.

Ok so the biggest selling point for me was the setup time and they were not exaggerating. Arrived flat-packed, my contractor buddy and I had this thing fully assembled in 50 minutes including hooking up utilities. The layout is smarter than it looks — you walk in and the living room opens up before you even see the kitchen. Having a full bath instead of just a shower in a tiny home was a huge deciding factor. We use it as a vacation rental in Colorado and it books solid every month from June through September. People are fascinated by the container concept and the reviews we get mention how surprisingly spacious it feels. We’re now looking at ordering three more for a different property because the bulk discount makes the math really work. This is hands down the best value in the tiny home market right now.

I’ve been dreaming about a small off-grid cabin for years and the Duo Mod checked every box. Solar panels on the roof, composting toilet option, and a layout that actually makes sense for living alone. The 20-foot expandable design gives you way more room than you’d think. I use the living room as my office, bedroom for sleeping, and the kitchen for all my meal prep. Being 385 square feet forces you to keep things minimal and honestly that’s the point. My friends were weirded out at first but now they’re asking for the link. Delivery was smooth, assembly was straightforward, and the whole process from order to move-in was under a week. If you’re even considering this, just do it. The only thing I wish is that they offered a second bedroom option but I knew that going in.

We bought this as an ADU for my mother-in-law and honestly I was skeptical. A 385 square foot container home sounded like it would feel cramped, but once it was set up in our backyard it really opened up. The bedroom is separate enough that she gets privacy, and the kitchen is genuinely functional — she actually cooks in there now. Setup took maybe 45 minutes which floored me. The delivery team dropped it flat-packed and my husband and his buddy had it assembled before lunch. Only real gripe is the bathroom is tight if you’re broad-shouldered, but for a tiny home that’s kind of expected. Bulk pricing on four units would’ve been nice because we’re actually considering buying another one as a rental on our property in Oregon. So far it’s held up through two rainy seasons with zero issues. Worth every penny.
