1. 30-Day Return Window
We offer a 30-day return policy. This means you have 30 calendar days after your shipping container is delivered to your property to request a return.
To initiate a return, you must contact us at info@cargocontainersupply.com before the 30-day window expires. Return requests made after 30 days will not be accepted.
2. Return Eligibility & Container Conditions
Because shipping containers are massive, heavy industrial items, returns are subject to strict condition requirements. To be eligible for a return, the container must be in the exact same condition that you received it.
- No Modifications: The container cannot be painted, welded, cut, modified, or permanently anchored to a foundation.
- Cosmetic Expectations (Used Containers): As stated in our Terms of Service, used containers (Cargo Worthy / Wind & Water Tight) are sold with guaranteed structural integrity, but will inherently possess surface rust, dents, and dings. Returns requested purely for cosmetic reasons on used containers will be classified as "Buyer's Remorse."
3. Return Shipping Costs & Restocking Fees
Moving a shipping container requires a heavy-duty commercial truck. The responsibility for return freight costs depends entirely on the reason for the return:

4. The Refund Process (7-14 Days)
We pride ourselves on processing refunds promptly once the container is recovered. Here is what to expect:
- Once our truck picks up the container from your property, it is transported back to our local depot.
- Upon arrival, the depot manager will perform a brief inspection to ensure no unauthorized modifications were made.
- Once inspected and cleared, our billing team will immediately initiate your refund.
- Refund Timeline: Please allow 7 to 14 business days for the refund to reflect on your original payment method (e.g., your credit card or bank account), depending on your financial institution's processing times.
Refunds will be issued for the original purchase price, less any applicable return freight or restocking fees (if the return was due to Buyer's Remorse).
5. Order Cancellations
You may cancel your order for a full 100% refund at any time before the container has been dispatched on a truck.
If the truck has already left the depot en route to your location, the order cannot be canceled without incurring a freight redirection fee. Please call us immediately at +1 (312) 285-3348 if you need to cancel an order.
