I’ve been shopping for a clean, well-equipped 4-horse bumper pull for over a year and this 2000 Sooner checked every single box. At 8 feet wide and 7 feet tall with 22 feet of floor length it gives my four horses genuinely comfortable space — no crowding, good headroom, and the padded stalls with the poured-in rubber floor make for a smooth, comfortable ride. The extra large dressing room is one of the standout features — I have my 4-tier saddle tree, bridle hooks, brush tray, and collapsible rear tack all set up and there’s still room to move around comfortably. The insulated roof with roof vents keeps the interior temperature manageable even on hot summer hauls, and the 3 drop windows with safety bars give excellent cross-ventilation for the horses. The Alcoa wheels are in great shape and the full-length awning is a feature I use at every show. The hay rack with two water tanks is incredibly convenient for longer trips. The walk-through door into the horse area and the escape door with the slider window are both safety features I wouldn’t go without. The listing said super clean and it absolutely delivered — this trailer is in outstanding condition for a 25-year-old unit. Sooner built some of the best bumper pulls of that era and this 2000 4-horse is proof of it. The 8-foot width makes a real difference compared to narrower trailers — my horses have genuine room to stand and shift their weight naturally on long hauls and they consistently arrive calm and relaxed. The extra large dressing room with the 4-tier saddle tree, bridle hooks, and brush tray keeps all my gear organized and immediately accessible at shows, and the combo lock on the tack door is a practical security touch you appreciate at busy fairgrounds. The poured-in rubber floor in the horse area is in great condition and provides good grip for loading and unloading. The bus windows on the hip side give great visibility into the stalls without opening anything, and the load lights make early morning and late evening loading stress-free. The 10 aluminum panels that come with the trailer were an unexpected bonus and have already come in handy at my property. The full-length awning is a feature I’ve come to really appreciate at outdoor events. Docking one star only because one of the interior dome lights needed a new bulb on arrival — a two-minute fix.
